Here’s an interesting comment which was shared at a professional development seminar I attended last week:
There are two types of people (students) in the world:
- Those who are here to get the grade; and
- Those who are here to learn (and don’t care about the grade).
Which one are you?
And more importantly, which one best describes your students? And by students, I refer to all people involved in some process of learning or education.
What’s the difference, I hear you ask? The way I see it, one is focused ticking a box, the other, is all about making a difference.
